MESH
MESH is a fully functioning ‘student consultancy’ that sees students work collaboratively on projects for real clients. This opportunity not only gives access to creative student-led thinking, but it also provides invaluable experience for Murdoch University students to develop their knowledge and skill by working on real projects that address the needs of real clients.
MESH aims to provide students with an immersive and engaging learning experience. Across each degree, students will have the opportunity to act as a MESH consultant and deal with a diverse range of real projects, with clients with real needs. Students could also work collaboratively with groups of diverse students to develop unique communication and or creative media solutions for a local not-for-profit, or perhaps undertake a more independent and long term project through a professional placement.
In addition to our Media Showcase and student consultancy, MESH also runs the annual MESH Awards that rewards and encourages high school students involved in creative media.
2024 Highlight Project - WAVC
Student Consultants: Nicole Herceg, Emilie Rickards, Toby Mees and Max Daniels
Co-Project Managers (Academic): Renae Desai and Mark Cypher
This year we had the privilege of working with WA Veteran’s Cricket (WAVC) to develop a digital communication campaign in readiness for the 2024 Over 40 Men’s National Championship to be held in Perth in November 2024.
Students worked on the initial brief to create a flagship website and digital communication strategic plan, social media strategy, content calendar, digital asset library and text and video content bank.
Students worked over the year to iterate the project culminating in the final website that is now live.
